Glass Half-Empty?

The glass, it seemed half-full to me
Just yesterday--I'm sure!
I filled it halfway in the sea
With water (bright blue and azure)
But now this morning, something's wrong
I swear, the water's half-gone
It must have been so, all along...
So I dumped it out on the lawn.
